Ocala, FL, April 7, 2008 - American Reverse Mortgage®, announced today that it is launching a new division, USA Underwriters. This new division will use Direct Endorsement (DE) Underwriters to underwrite a variety of FHA loans including all forward and reverse products. The current staff of DE Underwriters has over 200 years of underwriting experience and will provide any FHA-approved lender’s production needs with turnaround time from receipt to approval in as little as four days.
USA Underwriters management team of Daniel J. Duplantis, CMB,CRU, Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer; Barbara C. Santner, CMB, CRU, VP of Underwriting; Jan Jenkins, CMB, VP of Quality Control and staff will offer FHA lenders more expertise in a specialized area providing the flexibility to offer a diversity of FHA loan products and programs using a long established rule that allows FHA lenders to work with other FHA lenders. W.L. Pulsipher, President of American Reverse Mortgage states, “Recognizing the great need for DE certified Underwriters in today’s marketplace, we are combining a long-standing relationship allowed between FHA Lenders with an innovative approach to underwriting”.

Additionally, USA Underwriters offers the benefit of Quality Control (QC) Underwriting Reviews for FHA loans through their extensive staff of DE Underwriters. These QC services will allow the Lender to adhere to FHA rules on QC by re-underwriting the loan using only DE underwriters, saving the expense of hiring a DE Underwriter.
